Europe's economy may be the reason international companies move to the U.S.

The U.S. seems to be a hot spot for international companies!

We found out why many of them have their eyes on places like Pueblo.

Out of all the international companies wanting to take root in the U.S., many of them are European.

"We really do believe that's partly due to the turmoil in the European markets, and the fluctuation in their currency, and the uncertainty in their economic situation," said Jack Rink, President and CEO of the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation.

One thing all businesses like: stability.

"This is a place where they're willing to risk an investment because they're sure that that investment will be in place over the long term," said Rink.

Rink says there's a reason several international companies want to come to Pueblo

"A lot of people looking for work, people who are experienced at working in industrial settings," said Rink.

Plus transportation is a benefit, with access to the railroad, I-25, and Highway 50.

"We are very centrally located, and people find that that's an advantage as they're shipping their products anywhere in North America," said Rink.

Their increased interest could mean a boost for jobs in our future.

Rink says it's important to remember these companies are not shutting down old plants to move here or transferring workers.

They're all growing, which he says is the true meaning of job growth.
