The town of Green Mountain Falls is holding local elections Tuesday; the first since the town hall burned down in February.
Two men were arrested and are facing arson charges for burning down the historic government center.
Now, with the building gone, Tuesday's elections will be held at the Rocky Mountain Christian Center - near Highway 24.
"I hope that doesn't affect anybody's ability to vote," says resident Nan Stephens. "I don't think it will, but this excitement has been there even before that tragedy happened, and I think there's a lot of sympathy for our loss there and that might even generate more votes; I hope so."
City officials tell us they're following Colorado laws; making sure everything goes through correctly. They'll also have three independent judges attending to watch the counting.
