STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Former Oak Creek Mayor Kathy Rodeman has settled a lawsuit she filed against the town for $25,000.
Rodeman had accused former Oak Creek police officer Erik Foster of unlawfully entering her home to arrest her after she drove home from a bar in 2008.
Foster has said he tried to stop Rodeman for allegedly not using a turn signal but she allegedly fled to her home. He has said he used the stun gun because Rodeman wasn't cooperating. Rodeman has said she didn't violate any traffic laws.
The town admits no wrongdoing in the settlement.
The Steamboat Pilot & Today reports both sides said they agreed to settle to avoid costs of further litigation.
