Westerly winds will dominate the weather picture for much of the week, so mornings will tend to be sunny, with partly cloudy, breezy afternoons and evenings, with highs from near average to 10 degrees above average.
We've arrived at the time of the year, though, when an isolated storm can develop over the mountains and drift eastward ANY afternoon or evening, so keep a weather eye to the sky.
Wednesday night and Thursday, winds will shift to southeasterly, so you'll see more clouds, and the chance for a storm will increase just a bit (but still not be impressive).
From Friday through the weekend, expect sunny mornings, breezy afternoons, with highs climbing from the 70s into the 80s for Colorado Springs, 80s into the 90s for Pueblo, the southern Foothills and southeastern Plains, and 60s into the 70s for Teller County.
