COLORADO SPRINGS - The Air Force hockey team rallied from a 2-0 first period deficit to beat the Golden Griffins of Canicius 3-2 Saturday at the Cadet Ice Arena.
Sophomore forward Scott Holm scored twice in the third period to lift the Falcons to victory. His goals added to a momentum shift that started in the 2nd period on a Ben Persian goal.
Goalie Jason Torf made 24 saves for the Falcons (14-10-7) who are holding on to second place in the Atlantic Hockey Association with 29 points. Air Force visits the Rochester Institute of Technology next Friday.
