Fatal single vehicle accident in Penrose

Colorado State Patrol and emergency crews are on the scene of a fatal single vehicle traffic accident on 4th street in Penrose this afternoon. Flight for life services were called but turned back when the victim died from their injuries at the scene. The details are still coming in as State Patrol troopers and investigators try to determine what caused the accident. The name if the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
