$700 million in required budget guts to the Federal Bureau of Investigation will impact Colorado.
The FBI helps out in many state and local cases, but there could be some changes with that if the funding isn't available. The Denver FBI Office will look at 9 to 15 furlough days next year. The may also need to trim their force of agents.
The cuts are part of the automaic federal spending cuts, commonly called sequester.
