Fire Department plans training near UCCS tomorrow

The Colorado Springs Fire Department will conduct training near the campus of The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Friday.
Firefighters will conduct a "prescribed fire" actually setting grass on fire on the Summit property at the end of Cragmor Village Rd. In addition, personnel will cut dead trees and shrubs and will chip the material.
It is expected the burn will create smoke that may be visible for some distance.
