Fire destroys rural Pueblo County home

Fire destroyed a modular home over night at 45493 Fields Road in eastern Pueblo County.
The owner called 911 when he heard popping noises on his roof and found his roof was on fire. He did have a fire going in a wood burning stove at the time, though it is not known if that caused the fire.
No damage amount was released by fire fighters, but it appears the home is a total loss.
