CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) - Federal land managers have lifted burn restrictions in eight Colorado counties because of cooler temperatures and recent rains.
The Bureau of Land Management announced Saturday that it has lifted fire restrictions on BLM lands in Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Las Animas, Park, Pueblo and Teller counties.
Fire restrictions remain for BLM lands in the southeastern Colorado counties of Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero and Prowers.
