Colorado Springs Fire Dept Crews are working to knock down a fire at a mobile home park at 4825 Astrozon Blvd. We have a crew on scene and we are told that there has been one related injury but it is unknown at this time how serious those injuries may be. Initial search of the mobile home was clear of anyone in the home.

The smoke column from the fire could be seen from the west side of the city which is at least 5 miles away. There were several reports of smoke with other locations, but it was the same fire crews are working on now.

We have just learned that fire fighters found a dog not breathing, but were able to revive the animal. Currently crews are reporting the mobile home structure and a RV unit all clear with extensive damage.
