For the first time, games will be played on new ball fields in south Pueblo.
We told you a few months ago about the new Lake Minnequa Sports Complex.
Now we're following up on the project for you.
It's a multi-sport park that cost more than a million dollars to build.
It was made possible by the city, grants, and help from the Denver Broncos.
Many different sports will be played there, but it was all started by the Pueblo Police Activities League.
Their youth football teams will be at the new fields tomorrow morning to play the first games there, but the official opening of the park will not happen for a few months.
