Flash flooding could develop over the weekend

Afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible Saturday. A couple of storms could drop moderate to heavy rain. A cold front arrives late Saturday night and brings another batch of low level moisture. Temperatures will be cooler Sunday with a better chance of heavy rain. The ground is saturated and won't absorb any rain, so if a thunderstorm dumps heavy rain, Flash Flooding will be possible, not only on burn scars but over most of El Paso County. So keep an eye on the sky and stay tuned. We'll keep you updated all weekend.
