Flights canceled in advance of storm

As much of the country prepares for more snow and bitter cold, United Airlines has canceled 130 flights out of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport -- about 30 percent of its schedule.

Some evening flights were canceled in Atlanta, as forecasters predict up to three inches of snow in northern Georgia. And some early flights in Tampa, Florida, were delayed because of frost on the planes' wings.

Another ten inches of snow is expected in Iowa, which was buried by more than two feet of snow last month. North Dakota is bracing for up to nine inches of snow is the southeast. The National Weather Service says wind chill levels hit 52 below zero in northern North Dakota early this morning. More of the same is expected tonight.

One meteorologist summed it up: "It's brutally cold, definitely brutal."
