Florence woman dies in morning crash

A Florence woman is dead following a crash this morning on Hwy. 115. The State Patrol says the woman lost control of her 2005 Saturn near mile marker 12, left the roadway and traveled down a ravine. Troopers were alerted to the crash around 11 a.m. but they believed it happened earlier in the morning.
The weather is believed to be a factor in the crash. The victim's name has not yet been released.
