TODAY: The plains should remain dry although a few snow showers will be possible over northern El Paso County late afternoon through the evening. The snow could be heavy enough to turn the ground white. Snow showers still in the higher terrain this afternoon and evening. High temps today will be seasonable with 40s to 50s in the Plains and 30s in Teller County.
TONIGHT: A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 2AM in northern El Paso County and Teller County, dry in Pueblo. Mostly cloudy and calm with lows near 20 in the Springs, 18 in Pueblo, and 13 in Teller County.
SUNDAY: Cool, calm and clear with mostly sunny skies and afternoon highs in the 40s in the Springs and Pueblo, 30s in Teller County. Overnight temperatures similar to Saturday night with upper teens to near 20 across the Plains, in the mid teens in Teller County.
MONDAY: Breezy and beautiful with plenty of sunshine and a touch warmer with highs near 50 in the Springs and Pueblo, still in the low 30s in Teller. Partly cloudy and breezy into the evening with lows in the mid 20s in Colorado Springs, upper teens for Pueblo and Teller County.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and slightly cooler with highs in the upper 40s, lows near 20. Southwesterly flow will favor snowfall in the Eastern San Juan Mountains as early as Tuesday evening. If this happens, the Eastern San Juans could receive over a foot of snow.
WEDNESDAY: A slight chance of rain and snow. We are watching the path of the next storm. If it keeps north and fast moving, the accumulating snow will stay north of the Palmer Divide. However, if it stays further south and moves a little slower, the Plains and eastern Mountains could get some snow. Otherwise, conditions will be mostly cloudy and cold with highs in the 40s, lows in the single digits. Breezy conditions will bring the wind chills into the negative. So bundle the kids up on Thursday morning!
THURSDAY: Clear, calm and cooler with highs near 40 in the Springs and Pueblo, near 30 in Teller County. Overnight lows in the upper teens in Colorado Springs and Teller County, near 10 degrees in Pueblo.
FRIDAY: Dry and mild with highs in the upper 40s in Colorado Springs, mid 50s in Pueblo and near 40 in Teller County.
