A certified course is planned for next month to teach food service professionals how to keep food safe.
ServSafe, the Serving Safe Food Certification Course will be conducted in a two-part course Tuesday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 11 from 2:00 pm-7:30 pm each day in Pueblo. Limited space is available for restaurant owners, food service managers and food professionals wanting a National Restaurant Association certification model for employee training.
The course, taught by Colorado State University Extension, is developed and regularly up-dated by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. The course registration of $110 includes training, training materials and the certification examination. Deadline for registration is April 2. To register, call CSU Extension at 583-6566.
