A former church counselor has admitted sexually assaulting five children and faces at least 10 years in prison.

Brad Boda pleaded guilty Friday in Boulder County. The former Rocky Mountain High School counselor admitted assaulting five children in 1998, four boys and one girl. At the time, Boda was a church counselor in Longmont.

The plea agreement calls for Boda to spend the rest of his life on probation in a sex-offender monitoring program.

Victims told investigators that the assaults took place on church trips, in the church basement, in a neighbor's home and at Boda's family cabin.

Boda will be sentenced June 30.
