DENVER (AP) - A former Denver sheriff's deputy accused of helping an inmate escape is due in court.
Matthew Andrews is scheduled to enter a plea Monday in court.
Felix Trujillo spent three days on the run in April after walking out of Denver's new jail in a sheriff's deputy's baseball cap and jacket.
Investigators say the deputy told co-workers he because he'd been threatened and had been told there was a contract out on him and his family.
Last week, Trujillo was sentenced to 34 years in prison after pleading guilty to both the escape and the robbery he was in jail for at the time of his escape (Photo: AP/Deputy Matthew Andrews, pictured left and Felix Trujillo, pictured right. )
