Former Focus on the Family worker sentenced on sex charge

A former radio producer for Focus on the Family was sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to attempted sexual assault of a child, according to the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office.
Juan Alberto Ovalle was nabbed in an internet sting. Investigators say he drove from Colorado Springs to Lakewood on April 3 to meet an undercover investigator who was posing as a teenager.
The court recommended Ovalle's probation supervision be transferred to El Paso County.
