Fort Carson is formally opening a $72 million clinic for dental, pediatrics, acupuncture and other services.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned Tuesday.

Maj. Gen. David G. Perkins, Fort Carson's commanding general, and Maj. Gen. M. Ted Wong, the Army's Western Regional Medical Command deputy commanding general for readiness, will attend.

The building is called the Soldier Family Care Center. It will also house a range of other operations, including family medicine and chiropractic clinics, a pharmacy and a records section.
