Fountain-Fort Carson wrestler is Athlete of the Week

Fountain-Fort Carson wrestler Josh Schoenberger is this week's Loaf ‘N Jug Gatorade Athlete of the Week.
Josh is a senior for the Trojans wrestling team and is one of the best wrestlers in the state. The 17-year old senior is 31-0 this season and ranked number-one in the 182-pound weight class. His only loss the past two years was a narrow 3-2 decision at last year's state championship match.
Josh has been wrestling since age five and says he loves the sport because it's all about personal responsibility.
"You have no one to blame," said Josh. "It's just you and one other person. If you screw up, it's you. Look at the people in the Olympics. They go hard every other day, because it's just them and one other person. It's for them. It's for their team."
Josh says he plans on wrestling in college. He's still undecided on which school he will attend.
He was also on the Trojans football team and enjoys dirt biking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
