Free computer recycling available this weekend

Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs is offering free computer recycling this Saturday, March 27th.

Computers can be dropped off 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Hills Mall southeast parking lot and The Citadel north parking lot in front of the food court as well as Goodwill's regular donation locations.

Donors will receive a tax receipt for dropping off any brand of used computer equipment in any condition.. Scrap metal including old appliances, car parts, bicycles, etc and clothing donations will also be accepted during the drive. Proceeds from donated computers go to support Goodwill.

The donation drive is part of the "Reconnect" partnership with Dell that provides an easy, safe and responsible way for the public to recycle used computer equipment.
