Many of our military families on Fort Carson are going to have some help decorating their homes this holiday season.
Once again the Mountain Post is offering the free "Trees for Troops" program.
Fort Carson teamed up with Fed Ex to give away free trees to military families.
Vouchers are handed out to families to redeem for trees and one military wife we caught up with says every little bit helps during her husbands deployment,
"especially right now that most of our husbands are deployed and it's really nice. It really gets you in the spirit to be thankful for so many things. You know this is one more thing to be thankful for," said Dioselina Olmedo whose husband is serving in Afghanistan.
Over six hundred trees were trucked in for the event that runs tomorrow through Friday at the Mountain Post Sports Complex.
