Fremont County man dies after allegedly being shot by his brother

A Howard man is dead after a shooting involving his brother.
Just after midnight last night, Fremont County Sheriff's deputies went to a home on Holiday Hills Drive in Howard on a reported shooting.
Once there they found Daniel McBride, 34, in a bedroom, dead from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Daniel's 32-year-old brother, Joshua McBride, was taken to St. Thomas More Hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury before being booked into the Fremont County Detention Center on a charge of Murder in the Second Degree, $30,000.00 bond.
The two brothers and a 27-year-old female were involved in a physical altercation in the home when Joshua allegedly shot Daniel once with a 12-gauge shotgun.
The female received minor injuries during the struggle and was released at the scene after questioning.
All three lived in the home.
Authorities say alcohol was involved, and the investigation is ongoing.
