Thursday was the warmest day since January 21 in both Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Friday, however, will be noticeably cooler. The breeze will be brisk, too. Thursday's wind was brisk, but it was a downslope breeze. Today's gusty wind will be upslope, which will mean cooler air and some clouds.
Highs will be in the 50's for many of us with mid-to-upper 40's in the cool spots.
Expect warm 60's this weekend with warm sunshine.
More snowfall in the mountains today will keep the avalanche danger high this weekend. Snow will fade away on Saturday, so Saturday is at least a decent drive through the mountains despite the enhanced avalanche risk.
