Friday will be warm, the weekend less warm

A warm Friday is in store for us. A cold front approaching from the north will bring an increase in cloud cover and wind. Ahead of the cold front, some warmth surges into our area, then we will be cooler tomorrow behind the cold front.

High temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 60's around Colorado Springs with upper 60's right along the mountains along and south of the Arkansas River Valley, including Cañon City, lower 70's from Pueblo east along the Arkansas River and across the rest of the Southeastern Plains, and 50's in Teller County.
