The cold front that produced hurricane force winds over the mountains Friday afternoon is moving on now, the wind is decreasing and colder air is settling in. Lows will be close to freezing for many of us. Plan on sunshine and lighter winds on Saturday, (but still breezy in the afternoon), with highs near average (50s and 60s at the lower elevations, 40s/50s in the mountains). Easter Sunday looks like a beautiful day, with a chilly start (low 30s) and a brilliant finish (60s/70s). The warm trend will continue on Monday, with another approaching cold front bringing back the breezes on Tuesday (and a chance of a few showers/thunder over the high country by Tuesday night), Stronger winds Wednesday and Thursday as the front moves through (and a better chance of showers/storms both days). Friday will be warmer than average (lows 30s, highs 60s/70s) and breezy.
