As a cold front races into Colorado, windy, warm and dry will be the weather words (until the front gets here), with significant changes Wednesday and Thursday. The front will arrive at the Palmer Divide around 5 AM Wednesday, bringing colder air and an increasing chance of rain and snow, then just snow Wednesday night and Thursday. The coldest highs will be Thursday (20s/30s), with a recovering Friday and a warming weekend. Travel will be especially challenging Wednesday night and Thursday, with areas of snow and wind, as well as widespread fog.
