Furry new faces at the Pueblo Zoo

PUEBLO - There are some furry new faces to see at the Pueblo Zoo. A baby Ringtail Lemur was born last Thursday. Zookeepers think the infant primate is a boy but say its too early to tell. The zoo plans to hold a naming contest later this summer.

Additionally, zoo goers will find a distinctive new cow in the livestock area. Chilly Jane is a one year old Scottish Highlands Cow. She was recently donated to the zoo by Dr. John Hardy and Terrie Sajbel.

Don't let the horns fool you, zoo keepers say beneath her shaggy coat she is in fact a cow and not a bull.
