If you've ever needed a fork lift to pack a pumpkin, you could have competed in the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off today in Old Colorado City.
All of the pumpkins were weighed, and it was definitely a family photo opportunity.
The winner of the day was a huge pumpkin weighing in at 900 pounds.
It belongs to Barry Todd of Littleton.
He says it's the third biggest pumpkin he's grown.
The first was more than 1200 pounds!
Luckily, the drought didn't affect the size of his pumpkins.
"I have, over 30 years, devised a watering system that waters from underneath, so I think that was a large part of getting my plants through the drought," said Barry Todd, who's been a pumpkin grower for 40 years.
Todd donates hundreds of pounds of pumpkins to churches.
His guess is his 900 pound pumpkin could make about 800 pumpkin pies.
