In Pueblo, a good samaritan was helping a woman in a wheelchair when officers say he was struck by a hit and run driver. Andrea Quintana (pictured) is disabled and was trying to get across Northern Ave. on her electric wheelchair, when it stopped working. Police say that good samaritan, Ernestor Campos stopped to help and was hit by a chevy pickup truck.

Officers say campos landed some 90-feet away and suffered numerous broken bones, however, they say he's expected to survive. "And I want to know who this kid is that helped me because he's my angel. My guardian angel. He pushed out of the way you might as well say and I need to meet him," said Quintana. Police say Campos is 36-years old.

The wreck happened around 9:15 p.m. at Northern and Stone. If you have any information about the suspect, contact Pueblo Police. Pueblo Crime Stoppers can be reached at 542-STOP (542-7867).
