This is cool--you have to try this--Google is accelerating its search engine by displaying the results as soon as you begin to type in your request.

The new "Instant Search' introduced Wednesday means you'll start to see an ever-evolving set of results with each character you type into the search box. I just posted a story about White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. By the time I typed "RAH"--Google had pulled up Rahm Emaneul as my top choice.

Instant Search grew out of Google's quest to deliver search results as quickly as possible. Google believes this feature will enable its search engine to anticipate what a person is looking for with just one keystroke.

Google is counting on the latest innovation to help maintain its dominance of the lucrative search market as rivals Yahoo and Microsoft join forces.
