Gov. Ritter in Texas for wind energy conference

Gov. Bill Ritter is in Dallas attending the 2010 American Wind Energy Association's Windpower Conference. The governor is promoting Colorado's New Energy Economy.
The conference is expected to attract more than 23,000 attendees and 1,500 exhibitors over four days. Wind industry leaders from around the world are showcasing energy, economic and environmental opportunities.
Colorado already has several wind farms, with more in the works. In addition, Vestas has plants in Pueblo and Windsor to feed the growing industry.
