A local high school student overcame a physical disability to walk across the stage at graduation much to the surprise of his classmates and teachers.

Christopher Dana suffered a crippling injury to his spinal cord last summer. The Sand Creek High School senior had lost all feeling below the waste.

Nevertheless, he made it his goal to walk at graduation. And last Saturday, that is exactly what he did.

Christopher says he still has a long way to go with his therapy, but hopes to eventually enroll at Nazarene Bible College and become a youth pastor.
