Graphic details revealed in sex abuse affidavit

The arrest affidavit for Karen Clark of Teller County has been released in a sexual assault case.  Clark was arrested last week on one count of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Many of the details are too graphic for this site.

According to the document the girl said she was assaulted over a two-year period starting when she was 11.  She told investigators she had sex with Rocky Clark dozens of times.  She reported Karen Clark would join in with sex toys while watching pornography.  Before each sexual encounter she said all three would smoke marijuana grown in the couple's greenhouse.  She said she was told if she said anything to anyone, "it would come back on her and ruin her life."

Clark would not talk to News 5 today, but before her arrest she did talk on the phone. She told us, "She's a teenager, and she lives in a fantasy world. We tried to teach her that stories can get you and other people in big trouble. You have to remember to tell the truth."

Clark was arrested after a search warrant was executed at her house.

Her husband, Rocky Clark committed suicide just after Thanksgiving, two days before he was to be interviewed by Teller County Sheriff's Deputies.
