The Aurora City Council is considering gunshot sensors in some of its most violent neighborhoods.
Officials say the system could pinpoint the origin of a gunshot more accurately and more quickly than someone calling 911.
According to the Denver Post (http://bit.ly/qd8y2i ), councilman Ryan Frazier says northwest Aurora residents are worried about rising violence and he believes public education and a system to detect gunshots and report them to police in an instant will help authorities.
