A new report suggests Colorado could run out of hospital beds, if the H1N1 flu virus gets severe enough.
The study "H1N1 Challenges Ahead" predicts that almost 22,000 people in our state could need hospitalization because of the virus. The would occupy approximately 88-percent of hospital bed-space across the state, leaving little room for patients with other ailments.
The study also finds that Colorado needs to refine its plans for mass distribution of the H1N1 vaccine. Click here to read more on this study.
