Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

We like to read--
oh, yes we do!
We like to read--
to you-know-who!

OK, so Dr. Seuss I'm not!

You don't have to be Dr. Seuss to read to children so News First 5 is fanning out across Colorado Springs and Pueblo to read to school children as part of "Read Across America Day."

Bill Folsom enthralled the kids at Howbert Elementary School, while Andy Koen read at Midland. Lisa Lyden and Lee Douglas are also using their best "dramatic" voices today. Watch News First 5 this evening to catch their performances.

Read Across America Day recognizes the anniversary of Theodor Geisel's birth. Geisel's pen name--Dr. Seuss.
