Head-on crash kills one near Florence

One person died in a head on collision near Florence this morning.
The State Patrol reports a southbound vehicle lost control at about 5:50 a.m. and went into the oncoming lane and was hit by another vehicle.
The driver of the first car died at the scene. His name has not been released. The other driver had minor to moderate injuries.
The accident happened on Highway 115 about 13 miles north of Florence.
The road was icy at the time of the crash.
