After a wet couple of days, drier conditions are expected for the start of this new week as a ridge of high pressure builds in bringing us mostly to partly sunny skies through Tuesday. A stray shower or storm is still possible though over the mountains this afternoon.
It will also be hot over the next few days with highs well above average for this time of year. Highs will range anywhere from the 90s to around 100 degrees over the next three days.
Highs will fall back to more seasonal readings by Wednesday. The more comfortable temperatures will continue then into next weekend. There's also a daily chance for showers and storms in the forecast throughout the second half of the week.
