Has been a busy weather day for southern Colorado. Heavy rain, hail and even a tornado reported.
As of 10pm Saturday night, heavy rain has developed along the U.S. 50 corridor from eastern Pueblo County to the Kansas border. Travel along U.S. 50 is strongly discouraged at least for the next several hours.
Rain will be possible through the overnight hours. Some of the rain will be heavy, especially over the southeast Plains.
We will have another chance for showers and thunderstorms Sunday. Once again, storms that develop will be slow moving and have the potential of dropping heavy amounts of rain in a short period of time. - Meteorologist John Dissauer
