DENVER (AP) - Gov. John Hickenlooper is supporting a proposed ballot measure that would raise $950 million in new taxes to fund public schools.
Governor's aide Alan Salazar says the governor told business leaders on Wednesday it should be up to voters to decide how to pay for education.
Salazar tells the Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/oqnbp9q ) Hickenlooper wants to make Colorado a public education leader.
