Little kids like to get their hands on everything, especially the stuff that's off limits. Sometimes that can mean a trip to the emergency room.
Experts say parents need to do a run-through in their home to make sure they're making it child proof.
In a kitchen, you need to make sure kids don't try to grab whatever is on the stove. If it is boiling and spills on the child, it can cause first and second degree burns.
Fire Extinguishers should be mounted on the wall and in plain sight.
Parents should also place childproof latches on cabinet doors to keep kids from dangerous cleaning chemicals.
