If you're in Pueblo today keep your eyes open for something strange-looking on the road. The Pueblo railway museum is moving a high-speed air cushioned vehicle, which is basically a big hovercraft, from the Weisbrod Aircraft Musesum near the airport to the railway museum on D St.
This hovercraft which was built to move at 300 miles per hour, will now slowly make its way through Pueblo's side streets.
The red and white hovercraft will be transported on a semi trailer. They're expected to start moving it around 10 o'clock this morning. People on E. 4th St. should get a good view of it as the semi-truck makes it's way to downtown Pueblo.
I'm heading off to the aircraft museum right now, and will be posting pictures and location updates on my twitter page @ortiviz
By the way, this is the second hovercraft the railway museum has moved from the aircraft museum. In July 2009, they moved a 94-foot long aerotrain to the railway museum.
