Highway 115 reopened after woman hit and killed

Highway 115 is back open two miles south of Turkey Creek Road after a pedestrian is hit and killed Friday evening.

According to Colorado State Patrol, a 75-year-old woman hit a deer on the highway, got out of her car and was struck and killed by another passing vehicle. The woman in the vehicle that struck her, was not injured. No names have been released yet.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be contributing factors.
