Fatal crash closes Highway 50 east of Pueblo

One person is dead after an accident on Highway 50 in far eastern Pueblo County near 61st Lane. Another person has been flown to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Highway 50 is closed in both directions due to the accident in the EB lane and emergency equipment in the WB lane.
The State Patrol is received the call at 2:06 p.m. and is on the scene directing traffic.
Avoid the area.
