Home Depot announces job openings

While thousands of seasonal workers just got laid off after the holidays, Home Depot says it is hiring more than 70,000 season positions for Spring.
The world's largest home improvement retailer has already begun recruiting. Last year, about half of the company's seasonal hires stayed on in permanent positions.
Spring is Home Depot's busiest selling and hiring season.
