It'll be a quiet overnight as skies become mostly clear. Temperatures will fall into the 50s/60s by Sunday morning. Sunday looks like a great day to be out and about. Despite the possibility of a stray shower or storm over the mountains Sunday afternoon, expect a mainly dry day with mostly to partly sunny skies overhead. It'll be a hot one as well with highs in the 90s for most of Southern Colorado.
The hot and dry weather will continue into Monday and Tuesday with highs staying well above average for this time of year in the 90s. A few locations along the Highway 50 corridor and over the Southeastern Plains look to top out around 100 degrees early in the workweek.
A daily chance for showers and storms returns to the mountain region and I-25 corridor Wednesday. Highs return to more seasonal values for the second half of the week.
