With the exception of a little smoke from wildfires skies have remained near 100% sunny this afternoon. Temperatures have climbed in to the 90°s and lower 100°s once again today.
*Red Flag Warning* will likely be in effect for the counties along the I-25 corridor and west.
Skies will turn partly cloudy tomorrow and temperatures will "cool" a couple degrees from this afternoon's highs. Generally, highs should range from the upper 80°s to upper 90°s.
Long range forecast models continue to indicate that heat will continue to remain in place through next week. In fact, computer models are suggesting the hottest air of the season (so far) will move in to Colorado middle to late next week.
Experimental long range computer models are also suggesting there could be a prolonged period of hot and dry weather for Colorado June 26-July 3 and then another prolonged period of hot and dry weather will persist from July 7-22. Stay tuned! - Meteorologist John Dissauer
